Every year, as soon as the sun starts to come out and we suddenly realise that we really need to start getting “summer body ready” then spend the entire summer eating copious amounts of delicious BBQ food, ice cold cider and licking delicious ice cream so we do kind of undo any of the good work we’ve done.
Then of course it’s only a hop, skip and a jump before we reach Christmas, half of which at least for most people is all about the food, so a lot of people often use the window between Summer and Christmas to try and shed a few pre-Christmas pounds. This can of course be done with a good healthy diet and exercise.
Fat Dissolving Treatment

What is it? Well, Aqualyx is a non-surgical solution to minimize and remove stubborn, localised pockets of fat. It is ideal for those who exercise regularly and maintain a healthy diet but have pockets of fat that just won’t shift. How long will it last? Well, that is the best part. As long as the patient maintains a constant weight, i.e they don’t gain any, and have a healthy diet and exercise regularly, the results are permanent!

So how does it work? Well, the Aqualyx treatment breaks down the cell membranes in order to liquify the fat cell and destroying it completely which in turn releases the lipids that are then eliminated naturally through the lymphatic system. An elastic needle is used to allow small areas to be tackled effectively and Lidocaine (a type of anaesthetic) is mixed with the Aqualyx before the injection for greater comfort.
