Dental Nurses

Luchy has recently joined our team here at Black Swan Dental Spa. Having moved from Argentina just five years ago, she achieved her Level 3 Diploma in Dental Nursing in 2019.

Luchy works hard to ensure patients feel comfortable and confident in the care they’re receiving here at the spa. She is both calm and professional, and loves chatting with new patients. You can count on Luchy to brighten up your day !

Although Luchy misses Argentina, she loves living in Somerset with her husband and two, mini lop-eared rabbits.

Beccy has been involved in dentistry since 1988 and qualified as a dental nurse in 1996.  She joined Black Swan Dental Spa in 2018 and is loves helping our patients achieve the smiles they want.

Beccy is always ready to help, enthusiastic and keen to learn new ideas, skills and knowledge from working at Black Swan.  She loves being part of the team and is always smiling, brightening up our day.

In her spare time she enjoys relaxing with her two children, running and gardening.

Katie is qualified and experienced dental nurse with a broad background in general dentistry, implants, orthodontics and sedation. She holds additional qualifications in dental radiography, CBCT scanning and digital scanning, and is also qualified tutor and Assessor.

Highly adaptable to different practice styles. She is committed to delivering high-quality patient care and supporting the wider black swan team.

Lucia is a qualified dental nurse who earned her national certificate in Dental Nursing in 2007. She has a strong interest in smile makeovers and dental implants, and is also a skilled in sedation and as a implant nurse.

In addition, She is trained in dental photography, suture removal, and intraoral scanning.

Outside of her professional life, she enjoys walking – often with her Border Collie and reading in her spare time.

Sharon has been a qualified Dental Nurse for over 25 years. Starting her nursing career in 1999, she has worked in a variety of roles and practices across Somerset and Dorset, including general, specialist and hospital settings, progressing from trainee Dental Nurse to Practice Manager.

In the last couple of years, Sharon has returned to her roots in dental nursing and continued to develop her passion for orthodontics. She loves being part of a patient’s journey and helping them achieve the confidence to smile, whilst ensuring they feel relaxed and comfortable throughout their treatment.

Throughout her career, Sharon has been fortunate to gain additional skills in intra-oral scanning and clinical photography, alongside postgraduate qualifications in Dental Radiography (2015), Oral Health Education (2017) and Orthodontic Nursing (2026).

Outside of work, Sharon has a keen interest in performing and can often be found on a stage somewhere in Somerset, taking part in a pantomime, musical or play alongside her two children.

Lexi is a trainee dental nurse & says she is passionate about healthcare and making a positive impact. Having completed a Level 3 in Health and Social Care, she enjoys gaining hands-on experience and developing her skills. She is looking forward to qualifying and growing in this rewarding career. Outside work, Lexi enjoys running and cooking for family and friends.

Lana joined the practice in september 2026 as a trainee dental nurse and is excited to begin her new career in dentistry.

Prior to this, Lana studied Uniformed public services at college, where she developed valuable skills that she can bring into her new role.

Outside of work, Lana enjoys spending time with friends and family, and relaxing with a cup of tea whilest watching true crime.
